PETA Poop

From the “Now I’ve Heard Everything” Dept: PETA—the folks who believe animals should have the right to vote—are now pushing for a tax on hunters -- as well as all of you who enjoy steak or hamburger – and they’re invoking Global Warming as the reason.

If you listen closely, you can hear the sound of my eyeballs rotating in their sockets.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants a 10-cent-per-pound excise tax on meat, and they the US Government to grant tax breaks for those who have sworn off the consumption of animals.

PETA founder Ingrid Newkirk claims vegetarians are responsible for fewer greenhouse-gas emissions and "environmental degradations" than meat-eaters.
Ingrid…let’s talk about that bean soup you had for lunch yesterday…

I think we need a Bone-head tax on public stupidity. I'm not the only one. Ted Nugent's thoughts along these lines were published today in the Waco (Texas) Tribune...they're an interesting read. Guess I'm not the only one.
