A brief note in passing on the passing of Lady Bird Johnson…she leaves behind a rich heritage in the history of Texas and our nation.I remember when Lady Bird's Texas Beautification plans were first rolled out, and some of the eye- rolling that went on.

A shrub here, a tree there?
The Legacy of Lady Bird blooms anew each spring all over the state, and will continue to do so, so long as the planet spins.God bless the Johnson Family.
